A recent report published by News.Bitcoin.com revealed that developer, Ryan X Charles, released the beta version of Money Button, a tipping plugin designed specifically for the internet by Bitcoin Cash-based social media platform, Yours.
Yours.org helps content creators, as they get the opportunity to make an earning through tips. The tips themselves typically consist of fractions of BCH. What makes using Money Button interesting is its efficiency and the ability to set up regular payments as one wishes – just like how prepayments work.
The developer behind the platform and innovative plugin launched the beta version weeks ago to ensure that consumers get a chance to test it out. As for its features, the Money Button contains easy-to-integrate API and zero confirmation to name the least. When considering its efficiency, Charles revealed that all it takes is a valid BCH address to transfer said funds.
The Money Button’s access is limited depending on the publishers’ recognition. In particular, starting and small publishers will be able to utilize it for free, however much larger publishers will be charged on a monthly basis which reflects the amount of traffic. Considering BCH’s relatively low transaction fees, any size of payments can be transferred.
According to the Yours.org team, this endeavor will initiate mainstream adoption, calling the Money Button “an accessibility layer for blockchain”.
As for the complete launch of Money Button, it has been revealed that certain glitches need fixing. Since its beta version was made available, several businesses and websites have tried it out. Charles trusts that one’s experience will be equivalent to “clicking the Facebook Like button”.
